iPhone 4 Camera Issue

So this issue came to light for me on August 11, I have noticed a very annoying blue tint in the center of the screen.

The issue only seems to effect users taking photos with florescent lighting (your typical Eco Bulb or Tube Lighting). Some say that this maybe a white balancing issue. Lets just hope there is a software update in the making

This doesn’t seem to be effecting only a few users. The issue is around 25 pages long on Apple Support Communities.

This seems to effect display models on display at Vodafone stores in New Zealand.

The patent images depicting concert tickets on the iPhone don’t seem too far away now.  Will we be seeing this with next years iPhone?  If you look up the top left of the iPhone pictured you will see what looks to be the sensor.

Jailbreaking to keep you safe? Yes!

Jailbreaking to keep you safe?  For the users of the original iPhone and iPod Touch, yes!  Since these older devices are not compatible with iOS 4 they have not received the PDF security update from Apple.

A PDF Patch has been released by Saurik (Jay Freeman) which fixes the issue. This prevents malicious websites from hacking your 1st gen iPhone and iPod Touch and is available from Cydia. This security issue was first exposed by jailbreakme.com, a website which could jailbreak your iOS device over the internet.
